William Court

William Thomas Court (1842 – 31 May 1910) was an Australian born English cricketer. Court was a right-handed batsman who occasionally fielded as a wicket-keeper. He was born at Sydney, New South Wales.
Court made a single first-class appearance for Kent against Sussex in 1867 at the Royal Brunswick Ground, Hove.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=First-Class Matches played by William Court )〕 Sussex were dismissed for 171 in their first-innings, while in response Kent were dismissed for 126, with Court being dismissed for a duck by James Southerton. Sussex made 249 in their second-innings, leaving Kent with a target of 295 for victory. Kent could only manage 179 in their chase, with Court being dismissed for 11 runs by Charles Payne, with Sussex's final margin of victory being 115 runs.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Sussex v Kent, 1867 )〕 This was his only major appearance for Kent.
He died at Wateringbury, Kent on 31 May 1910.
